They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Sales to lead their efforts across the Midwest region, from Texas to Illinois.
Objective of the Role
The VP of Sales (Midwest) will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence in both on-premise and off-premise channels. This role will involve developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and brand objectives.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the spirits industry, particularly within the ultra-premium segment. They will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, exceptional strategic thinking abilities, and a passion for luxury brands. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the Midwest region.
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise and off-premise accounts, distributors, and partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to develop promotional programs and initiatives that drive brand awareness and sales.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the spirits industry.
- Proven success in managing sales teams and achieving revenue growth in the luxury spirits market.
- Strong knowledge of the Midwest market, with established relationships in both on-premise and off-premise channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across the Midwest region.
- A passion for the luxury lifestyle and a deep appreciation for premium spirits.
