Our Client

Our client for this opportunity is an important Company in the Luxury Goods industry.

Objective

The HR Manager will be responsible for the HR function covering approx. 125 employees. He/She will act as a Business partner and will support all stakeholders in each Brand to ensure that the organization and HR projects are aligned with the Business challenges in the country/region and with each brand’s local strategy. Will provide timely and consultative support to achieve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Description

Organization Design and Change Management:

  • Design and propose organizational realignments
  • Advise and coach the Management team
  • Implement and lead organizational changes

Recruiting & Staffing :

  • Implement and monitor Recruiting strategy and process including budget definition according to Regional/Maison requirements and policies
  • Manage local recruiting & staffing (channels, suppliers, etc.)
  • Manage internal mobilities and promotions
  • Regularly update and validate hiring decisions with GM and Regional HR
  • Coordinate new employee assimilation (induction, training, …)

Training :

  • Solicit needs in discussion with local management to develop and propose annual training plan with budget definition and manage training logistics and administration
  • Source local external training consultants to develop customized solutions based on business needs
  • Implement Corporate Trainings programs and project in the local markets as requested
  • Enroll key talents in identified training programs
  • Plan, organize and conduct company orientation/ induction for new hires with follow up program

Development:

  • Work closely with Country GM or Regional VP HR on the development of existing internal talent and succession pipeline
  • Define and deliver talent development and succession strategies in consultation with Regional HR
  • Implement Corporate Development programs and projects in the local markets as requested
  • Conduct career interviews with identified managers with feedback report to all stakeholders
  • Manage internal mobility and organize mobility meetings with internal candidates to assess motivation and readiness. Regular updating and validation of Regional HR during the process
  • Participate in Career Fairs or Campus events organized at local level

Employee Relations:

  • Provide coaching to managers on performance management and staff development issues
  • Review all performance documentation to insure that employees are given objective feedback and clear guidelines for improvement
  • Act as an intermediary for employees in the resolution of work-related issues
  • Approve terminations; review all documentation to insure that reasons are clearly defined and not arbitrary or discriminatory. Insures fair and equitable treatment of all employees
  • Conduct exit interviews – identify key themes driving turnover (i.e., compensation, benefits, management, etc.)

Performance Appraisal:

  • Conduct Performance Appraisal training for new managers and short refresher sessions with all managers to ensure alignment
  • Define talent status and promotions in collaboration with line managers and validated by Country GM and approved by Regional VP HR
  • Ensure timely completion within stipulated timeline set by Regional HR
  • Oversee performance management system. Insure appraisals are completed in keeping with defined timeline

OMR Process:

  • Upon OMR kickoff communication from Regional HR, prepare the OMR documentation and organize the local OMR process with Country GM. Complete OMR documentation (using the standard format) with strategic indications and HR implications. Review all documentation with Regional HR
  • Work with Regional HR to add HR initiatives and OMR scorecard, which will be shared and discussed with Country GM/Regional VP
  • Implement an annual talent review for division

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Communicate all payroll updates/revisions to Payroll administrator and support local benefit administration
  • Review local compensation and develop proposals in conjunction with Regional HR
  • Support Regional HR in relevant projects and local communication

Change Management & Employee Engagement:

  • Act as the local Change Agent to implement change management and employee engagement projects in local markets
  • Drive Group initiatives and implement projects at local level

Budget Management:

  • Management and monitoring of recruitment and Costs budget and forecast at local level
  • Point of reference for recruitment and Training & Development budget and forecast

Reporting and others:

  • Monthly Costs statistics and other ad hoc reports
  • Local Point of reference for talent
  • Serve as local contact for any system projects to be implemented in local markets

Requirements

  • Degree and professional with previous experience in HR according to the specifications in the job description
  • Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems and be self-reliant
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
