As part of their growth strategy, the company is actively expanding into the wholesale market, aiming to establish partnerships with national retailers and distributors.
Objective of the Role
The National Account Executive will play a crucial role in driving the company’s expansion into the wholesale market. They will be responsible for building and managing relationships with key national accounts, driving sales growth, and maximizing brand visibility and market penetration. The objective is to strategically position our client’s beauty products in the retail landscape and accelerate revenue growth.
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven National Account Executive who possesses a deep understanding of the beauty industry and has a proven track record of successfully managing national accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts within the beauty retail sector and a keen business acumen. They should be highly motivated, innovative, and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Identify, prospect, and secure partnerships with key national retailers, distributors, and other relevant accounts to expand the brand’s wholesale presence.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including negotiating pricing, terms, and promotional programs with accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at national accounts, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align strategies, drive growth, and optimize customer experiences.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and recommend actionable strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in national account management within the beauty industry, with a focus on wholesale.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building successful partnerships with national accounts.
- Strong network of contacts within the beauty retail sector, including relationships with key decision-makers and buyers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and propose innovative strategies.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
