Company Description:

Our client for this Retail Sales Manager role operates a luxury watch boutique located in the US Virgin Islands.

Objective of the Role:

The qualified candidate will help meet growth targets, leading a dedicated team, and crafting an unparalleled luxury shopping experience for a distinguished clientele. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the incumbent will be instrumental in setting, pursuing, and achieving ambitious sales goals.

Ideal Profile:

The candidate should exhibit professional acumen comparable to standards upheld by the most prestigious luxury watch brands. They should possess a dynamic blend of leadership, sales expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ability to manage, motivate, and lead a team of 4 to 5 Sales Associates and 1 Watchmaker is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the sales team to ensure the attainment of sales targets.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Assisting in closing sales and expanding the customer base.
  • Setting objectives, providing coaching, and monitoring the performance of the sales team.
  • Managing the opening and closing of the boutique, conducting regular inventory checks, and ensuring sales reconciliation.
  • Engaging in regular communication with both current and potential customers.
  • Ensuring the sales team is adequately trained and adheres to the highest standards of customer service.
  • Placing regular product orders and ensuring the maintenance of after-market sales and service standards.

Requirements:

  • A BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a luxury retail environment, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development through various platforms.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proven expertise in driving the sales process from planning to closure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent people management skills.
  • A robust business sense and comprehensive knowledge of the luxury watch industry.
