Wrap-Up: CFR North America Convening in Montreal

Last week, we were pleased to be a part of the North American Convening of our CFR partners, always a great chance to gather with colleagues and discuss the most pressing issues in executive recruiting. This past gathering represented no exception to the usual lively discussion, participants were keen to talk about everything from technology to developing better internal processes.

Some of the hottest topics at the conference:

• Developing better efficiencies: tools and apps that can be used to make our processes better so we can spend more time with clients.
• Strengthening the network: the CFR network is global, but we are always looking to sharpen our level of specialization in cities all over the globe in areas like finance, operations and other specialized areas.
• Finding better metrics: good ways of measuring our progress are essential. We discussed individuals’ best practices for tracking key metrics that are important to our clients and our business.

There was plenty of food for thought during this gathering and we look forward to the next convening in Mexico.
